For more than 36 years, Global Emergency Services has executed major response and recovery missions nationwide and abroad, including hurricane recovery in Puerto Rico and Guam, Oklahoma tornado response, ice storm, hurricane, and flooding cleanup across Texas, wildfire support, marine transport, and international military logistics.

GES holds major State of Texas pre-positioned Emergency Debris Removal contracts with Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), covering 53 coastal and district counties including Austin, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, Houston, Pharr, and Yoakum, as well as significant recovery operations in the Tyler, Amarillo, Lufkin, Childress, Paris, and Bryan Districts during multiple storm events.

July 2025 – Severe West Texas Flooding

Vegetative debris removal and disposal from under bridges in Travis, Burnet, Llano, Mason and Caldwell Counties from the deadly floods that ravished west Texas on the 4th of July.

July 2024 – Hurricane Beryl

TxDOT Houston, Yoakum and Pharr Districts

Vegetative debris removal and disposal in Brazoria, Matagorda, Wharton, Houston, San Augustine, Nacogdoches, Shelby, Angelina, San Jacinto and Polk Counties.

Safely and expeditiously cut and trimmed damaged trees, bunched all storm debris into piles for collection, and established temporary disposal management sites (TDMS) at convenient locations coordinating with TCEQ to get the sites permitted for an open burn.

March 2023 – Texas Parks Emergency Tree Removal

Texas Parks and Wildlife, Martin Dies State Park

Performed exemplary emergency tree removal, consisting of taking down, cutting up, and hauling off site 29 dangerous trees in 3 days for final disposal.

(February – March) 2023 – Ice Storm Mara

City of Georgetown, Texas

Performed exemplary services of debris removal, reduction by grinding, and disposal of 150,000 CYDs of vegetative debris in 34 days.

Implemented a one-pass scenario allowing residents time to move their debris to the ROW or have it hauled off themselves.

(May – October) 2021 – Leaking Bulkhead Repairs and Demolition of Used Engine Warehouse, Slab and Concrete Parking Lot

Stewart and Stevenson / Kirby Marine Harvey, Louisiana

Performed emergency repairs to a leaking bulkhead that created a public nuisance. Demoed Large Warehouse and slab for access to compact, back eroded areas with clay to stop canal from leaking onto public roadway.

May 2021 – School Development Site Prep

Baldwin County, Alabama – Board of Education

Clearing, grubbing, and site prep including Fence removal of approximately 26 acres for the upcoming development of a new school.

After completion, School Board requested we perform all of their land clearing needs.

March 2021 – Lawsons Canal Remediation and Debris Removal

City of Beaumont, Texas

Excavate and load in 2 days, approximately 10,000 (+) CYDs of backfill material, existing vegetation, and construction debris from the designated site location in the marsh area on Marina Drive, including fence removal and disposal, final grading of the site, Construction Plan, storm water pollution plan, and traffic control.

March 2021 – Central Texas Ice Storm Debris Removal

City of Georgetown, Texas 

Performed 45,000 CYDs of debris removal as requested by City of Georgetown. When all other Contractors were released from the job, Global was asked to remain working due to their productivity and professionalism. Performed Debris removal for approximately Ten (10) Weeks with an invitation to return in the event of future disaster related damage.

 Performed 25,000+ CYDs of debris removal, reduction, and disposal due to a River log jam on Brazos River FM 1093 Bridge.

2008 – Value Place Hotel Fire Demolition

Demolished 43,000 sq. ft. of new hotel destroyed by fire in December 2007. Demoed and cleaned work area in 5 days for insurance evaluation of slab.

(2004-2005) – Hurricane Emergency Roofing CONTRACT

Statewide contract for emergency roofing due to damage from Hurricane Charlie. Contracted and produced over 3,000,000 sq. ft. of Blue tarp roofing through the Army Corps of Engineers.

Preformed debris removal due to damage from multiple hurricanes . Bringing construction supplies for both Florida & Alabama.

2003-2004 Operation Iraqi Freedom

Coalition Provisional Authority

Contracted as sub-contractor to the Coalition Provisional Authority through DRC, Inc. to supply and oversee security at Baghdad International Airport. Traveled to Nepal and contracted fifty-four Ex-British Army Gurkhas (British Special Forces) to provide security at airport and main gates at Military Base in Baghdad, Iraq. Also contracted to supply 400-man camp, all-inclusive. Camp was built and ready for occupancy in 15 days. Held an all-access security clearance (highest clearance possible) with all access military weapons permit.

2002 – Typhoon Chata’an

Contracted through ECC to negotiate contracting with United States Army Corps of Engineers and secure profitable subcontracting for their ACI Pacific contract. ECC was in grave danger of loosing their contract, but due to extensive knowledge of working in Guam, Global was able to lower the contract amount with the CORPS of Engineers and move forward with a very profitable contract for ECC.

2002 – Hurricane Lily

2001 (9/11) – World Trade Center

Contracted to ECC as a disaster consultant directing their direction into the work schedule in New York, and with their USACE ACI contracts. Organized and implemented ECC into the Disaster business.

2001 – National Paper Burn

Natchez, Mississippi

Grinding and screening of vegetative material to be used as boiler fuel for the paper plant. Executed over 200,000 tons of boiler fuel.

2001- NRCS Stillwater, Oklahoma

Emergency equipment rentals for debris removal from river and streams deposited by 1999 Oklahoma F5 Tornados. The contract was for 90 days, initiated enough Rights of Entry to continue work for 14 months. Initiated value engineering for Government and increased Trucking production by 100%.

2000 – Sparta, New Jersey Floods

Emergency Debris removal from river, streams, and parks. Equipment Rental contract and excavation of mudslides from roadways and parks.

1999 – Hurricane Floyd (South Carolina)

US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)

Conducted a successful “flood fight” in Horry County, SC ; removal and disposal of hazardous materials in Lenoir County, NC and Myrtle Beach SC.; debris removal for City of Myrtle Beach, S.C., New Hanover County, N.C., and Brevard County, Florida; emergency burn construction and debris removal in North Topsail Beach, NC; debris removal and abatement of fish-kills due to saltwater infiltration in freshwater ponds and lakes, and debris removal in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Prepositioned contracts were established in many cases.

1999 – F5 Tornado (Oklahoma)

US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)

In response to a statewide pre-positioned contract with USACE, our team mobilized more than forty crews within 48 hours to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We established a temporary debris processing and reduction site on a 40-acre location and constructed a compacted one-mile by 35-foot-wide rock access road overnight, capable of supporting 400–700 truckloads per day without failure for 40 consecutive days.

Collection of 420,000 CYDs of debris in 21 days utilizing a fleet of over 600 trucks and loading equipment. Vegetative and C&D debris were reduced for disposal, while metal and concrete materials were recycled. Final landfill disposal totaled approximately 165,000 CYDs—achieving a 63% volume reduction and significant savings in tipping fees.

1999 – NATO Operations in Europe

Performed a wide range of services for the operations in the Balkins. To provide additional support, offices were established in Tirana, Albania; Skopje, Macedonia; and Pristina, Kosovo. Provided work camp management and life support services, construction of roads and helicopter landing pad and food catering.

Joint venture with the largest transportation firm in Macedonia to establish a direct transportation link (The Kosovo Express) between Greece and Kosovo to bring needed supplies to the population of this area. Established field offices and provided support in each of the military-controlled segments of Kosovo, including the Italian, German, British, French, and American sectors.

(1989-1999) – Hurricane Mitch (Honduras & Nicaragua)

Provided a variety of disaster recovery services in Honduras and Nicaragua. Work involved avalanche clearance, river sediment and debris removal, bridge, and road construction.

(1998-1999) – Hurricane George (Puerto Rico)

USACE San Juan, Puerto Rico

Removed, processed, and disposed of approximately 320,000 CYDs of debris in Puerto Rico.

Processing entailed separating all debris, recovering metallic material, and disposing of the remainder after reduction. Preformed emergency debris removal and debris processing, including air curtain burning and vegetative reduction by grinding.

1997-2000 Super Typhoon Paka

Preformed debris removal, processing, and reduction on the island of Guam in the South Pacific. Mobilized all equipment by barge (ship) and completed all tasks in a 16-month period. Processed and reduced approximately 1,500,000 cubic yards of vegetative and C&D debris; collected, crushed and shipped to Korea over 14,000 destroyed vehicles; shredded, baled and removed over 50,000 tons (one hundred million pounds) of metallic waste. Secured six 10,000-ton ships and delivered metals to Korea and China for recycling. Reclaimed and restored all three reduction sites. Specialized services included car crushing, white goods bailing, tire shredding, and removal of battery acids and fluids from automobiles.

(1996-1999) – Hurricane Fran (North Carolina)

Preformed Ice and Water Delivery for USACE Wilmington, N.C. Contracted equipment rentals for NCDOT. Contracted 40 counties for Debris Removal for NCDOT.

Emerged DRC, Inc. (former company) from a seasonal Disaster Contractor to the Largest Disaster Contractor in the United States.

1995 – Hurricane Marilyn

Performed construction of Red Cross Shelter, Debris Removal and Temporary landfill reduction on the Islands of Vieques and Culebra, Puerto Rico USACE, and River and Stream debris removal and restoration for USDA NRCS.
